SUFE-DAFI

From June 28 to 29, 2025, Dishui Lake Advanced Finance Institute, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE-DAFI) and Tullett Prebon SITICO (China) Limited ("Tullett Prebon SITICO" or the “Company”) successfully launched the 2025 Middle Manager Strategy & Leadership Training Program (the "Training Program"). With focus on key topics such as macroeconomic trends, strategic thinking, and effective communication for managers, the Training Program integrated systematic courses and practical development activities, thus comprehensively enhancing the strategic vision and organizational execution power of middle managers.

CHEN Xiaolei, Secretary of the Party General Branch and Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Tullett Prebon SITICO, ZHU Jiaqian, General Manager of Tullett Prebon SITICO, and other leaderships of the Company participated in the entire Program. Professor LUO Yuding from SUFE-DAFI attended the completion ceremony and awarded certificates to the participants.

At the Training Program, experts and scholars from top colleges and universities, including Professor YUAN Zhigang, WANG Hongzhi, and ZHANG Zhen, were invited to deliver concise yet comprehensive lectures and case analyses on China’s macroeconomic situation, corporate strategic planning, and effective communication for managers.

During the practical activities including team-based car-building and outdoor rally racing, the sense of collaboration of the participants were improved through competition and cooperation, thus further enhancing the team cohesion and creativity of the middle managers.

Chairwoman of the Board of Directors CHEN Xiaolei emphasized in her completion speech that we should plan for development with a broader perspective, i.e. we should think and plan one more step forward; our teams should strengthen their confidence in the industry, i.e. no matter how strong others are, we remain steadfast, and should continuously boost their competitiveness to achieve faster and stronger development; we should build a new industry ecosystem with an inclusive and open mindset, for “if you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together”. She stressed that we should strengthen the management of corporate strategies and talent strategies, focus on enhancing capabilities in resource allocation, organizational structure, and middle- and back-office management, and realize a series of talent development plans from recruitment, training, and employment to retention through sound talent strategies, so as to facilitate the evolution of our organizational forms and the enterprise cultural construction.

General Manager ZHU Jiaqian pointed out that the managers should be engaged in learning with open mind and absorb new knowledge through in-depth thinking and active participation; and he emphasized that middle managers should formulate goal-based strategies, break free from the mindset and inherent frameworks formed in daily work, and plan the Company’s development strategy for the next 5 or even 20 years in an long-term and innovative perspective, thus facilitating the Company’s high-quality development.

In addition, Professor YUAN Zhigang provided professional comments on performance of the participants from the two departments in the drill, pointing out their strengths and areas for improvement in their thinking, thus further enhancing the practical value and implementation effect of the Training Program.

The Training Program was specially designed by the Executive Education (EE) Center of SUFE-DAFI for Tullett Prebon SITICO. In the future, SUFE-DAFI will continue to integrate crossover resources, combine theory and practice, and support more Chinese financial enterprises to move toward a more resilient and forward-looking development path.
