On May 24, the 2025 China Coordinates City Orienteering Challenge (the “Event”)kicked off at Shanghai Stadium. Over 10,000 participants measured Shanghai’s urban landscape on foot, tracing the city’s layout. Meanwhile, the Lingang Division of the Event was dynamically launched on the coast of the East China Sea, where more than 400 participants gathered by Dishui Lake to explore the financial, cultural, and tourism landmarks of Lingang New Area in creative ways.
With the slogan “Check in at trendy landmarks, join China Coordinates”, the Event guides participants to explore every corner of Shanghai through city orienteering. This year marks the third time this branded event has come to Lingang. The Event integrates urban culture with the branded event, allowing the romance of spring to meet the vitality of sports.

The race route covered 16 checkpoints in the main urban area of Lingang. As a “new landmark of Lingang” rooted in the area for two years, Dishui Lake Advanced Finance Institute (“DAFI” or the “Institute”) has created a finance-themed interactive zone leveraging its strengths in finance disciplines. Through teamwork, participants vividly acted out terms related to emerging finance using body language, spreading financial knowledge through fun challenges.

The session where 5-person teams took creative photos forming the “DAFI (Dishui Lake Advanced Finance Institute) LOGO” became the most popular check-in spot at the site of the Event. Participating teams formed the Institute’s English abbreviation with their bodies, capturing dynamic moments. DAFI-branded souvenirs distributed on site became Lingang mementos that participants competed to collect.

After two years of dedication and steadfast progress, Dishui Lake Advanced Finance Institute, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE-DAFI) has always grown in tandem with the development of Lingang New Area. In the future, the young DAFI will continue to remain rooted in and serve Lingang, co-creating a shared future with Lingang on the coast of the East China Sea.
