Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE) Dishui Lake Think Tank hereby releases the Adjustment Notice for the 2025 Master of Finance (Part-time) Program - AI Finance Track below:

We accept applications from candidates who initially applied for professional master’s programs in Finance, Applied Statistics, Insurance, or Digital Economics.Candidates for adjustment must meet the admission requirements of the target program and achieve a national postgraduate entrance exam score that meets the minimum requirement (national cutoff) for the economics discipline.


Schedule for Adjustment Re-examination


The “Adjustment Intention Collection System” for 2025 opened on March 28, 2025. The official “Postgraduate Adjustment Service System” will open on April 8, 2025.

Candidates interested in adjusting to the part-time Master of Finance (MF) program at Dishui Lake Advanced Finance Institute, SUFE (“SUFE-DAFI” or the “Institute”) should: Log in to the “National Postgraduate Re-examination Adjustment Service System” (official WeChat account: chsiyz), submit their adjustment intention first, and then formally file the adjustment application starting from April 8, 2025.

We will issue re-examination notices via the “National Postgraduate Adjustment Service System” after April 8, 2025. Candidates who have received the notices must: Confirm acceptance of the re-examination via the same system, complete the eligibility verification and attend the re-examination as required.



Program Q&A

1. How do I submit my adjustment intention?

Log in to the “National Postgraduate Re-examination Adjustment Service System” and fill in the information as follows. Note: Select the department (021) Dishui Lake Think Tank.



2. What is the program duration?

2.5 years, with classes held on weekends.


3. What is the tuition fee? Are scholarships available?

Total tuition: RMB 250,000. A dedicated scholarship program is available, covering 100% of students, with the highest award reaching RMB 50,000.


4. What is the teaching language?

Mainly Chinese, with some courses taught in English.


5. Is accommodation provided? Is it free?

Free accommodation is provided during the teaching period. To ease students’ financial burden and facilitate commuting, the Institute also arranges accommodation for part-time MF students.


6. What certificates will I receive upon graduation?

Graduates will be awarded Master’s Degree Certificate in Finance (issued by SUFE); Postgraduate Graduation Certificate (issued by SUFE).


7. What is the purpose of this program?

The program is designed to align with national policies and market demands, nurturing interdisciplinary talents in AI Finance. Against the backdrop of China’s “14th Five-Year Plan” and Shanghai’s Financial Talent Development Plan, and in response to the shortage of professionals in the field of AI finance, it aims to cultivate experts who master both financial theory and AI technologies, filling the gap in the talent market.


8. What are the program’s curriculum features?

The curriculum design emphasizes interdisciplinary integration, encompassing both fundamental financial theories and cutting-edge AI technologies. It covers interdisciplinary courses such as Introduction to AI and Fintech, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Python Applications in Finance. Complemented by academic seminars and practical activities, the curriculum fosters students’ competencies in an all-round manner.

The faculty consists of first-class educators from home and abroad, including renowned academic researchers and industry experts with outstanding achievements in fintech. This ensures that the teaching content stays at the forefront of the industry.
