2025 Dishui Lake International Conference in Finance

To promote academic research and international exchanges in the field of finance, and on the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of Dishui Lake Advanced Finance Institute, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE-DAFI), SUFE-DAFI initiates and hosts the 2025 Dishui Lake International Conference in Finance (the “Conference”). Scheduled to be held in Shanghai on May 24, 2025, the Conference will serve as a high-level academic exchange platform for global finance scholars and industry experts. It aims to focus on key issues and cutting-edge research in finance, bring together the latest research findings, and promote their application in China’s financial practices. The plenary session of the Conference will invite editors-in-chief of top finance journals to deliver keynote speeches and engage in exchanges, sharing academic frontiers and latest developments.
Topics of Submitted Papers
We welcome academic papers covering all areas of finance (in either Chinese or English). The Conference will adopt a standard international conference format, with Chinese and English as the languages of communication.

Paper Submission
1) Authors are welcome to submit unpublished working papers (in PDF format). When submitting papers, please provide complete information of all authors.

2) Submission Deadline: April 20, 2025. All submitted papers will be evaluated by a review committee composed of international scholars, and authors are intended to be notified in early May 2025.

About School of Finance, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE)
The School of Finance, SUFE, traces its origins to the Banking Department of National Southeast University, founded in 1921. It is one of the earliest-established finance disciplines among Chinese universities. Its founding scholars, including Professors YANG Yinpu and ZHU Sihuang, were pioneers of modern Chinese finance. In 1998, to meet the needs of China’s financial development and further advance the finance discipline, SUFE established the School of Finance – the first school of finance ever set up among universities in Chinese mainland.
