Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE) is a multi-disciplinary key university that focuses on economics and management and maintains coordinated development in economics, management, law, arts, science and engineering. Dishui Lake Advanced Finance Institute, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (hereinafter referred to as “SUFE-DAFI”) is a secondary college of SUFE operating under a special management system. Co-founded by the Lingang New Area Administrative Committee, SUFE, and Lingang Group in line with the model of world-class business schools, SUFE-DAFI serves as a key functional platform for the development of emerging finance in the Lingang New Area. We are now sincerely inviting outstanding doctoral graduates to join SUFE-DAFI, with 4 postdoctoral positions available in the fields of asset pricing, corporate finance, and artificial intelligence. The relevant details are announced as follows:
I. Eligibility Criteria
1. Individuals who have obtained or will soon obtain a doctoral degree in relevant disciplines (domestically or internationally).
2. Possess a solid research foundation and strong teamwork skills.
3. Generally under 35 years of age.
4. Demonstrate excellent academic performance and good health.
II. Application and Approval Process
1. SUFE-DAFI accepts postdoctoral applications year-round. After obtaining approval from a potential supervisor, applicants should log in to SUFE-DAFI’s recruitment website (URL: http://zhaopin.sufe.edu.cn/) and register using their ID card number or passport number as the username. After registration, they will log in to the recruitment page, select the “My Resume and Supporting Documents” section to fill in the resume, submit the required materials, and upload attachments.
Required attachments include: List of research achievements since pursuing the doctoral degree; 1-2 representative scientific research outputs; doctoral dissertation; doctoral degree certificate or other valid supporting documents; ID card; award certificates, etc.
2. Package all supporting documents and send them to the email address bsh@sufe.edu.cn, with a carbon copy (cc) to hr_dafi_faculty@mail.shufe.edu.cn.
3. SUFE-DAFI will conduct a comprehensive review and assessment of applicants’ political ideology, scientific research capabilities, and academic levels.
4. For applicants approved for admission, SUFE-DAFI will complete the postdoctoral admission approval procedures in accordance with national policies and relevant regulations.
Ⅲ. Postdoctoral Tenure and Work Requirements
1. The postdoctoral tenure is two years.
2. Assist the team leader in tasks including discipline development, program development, talent cultivation, scientific research, and academic competitions. The post-tenure assessment will be conducted in accordance with SUFE’s standards.
3. During the tenure, the work location will be at SUFE-DAFI.
